SET FIRE
Set fire to your bridges. lay siege to your lodge,
Go frolic with angels who fly.
Abandon seclusion and safety and pride,
For billowing winds and blue skies.
The hurricane's piping may sweep you to sea,
Leaving reason and leisure and strife.
Meet the gush and the rush and the surge of the wave,
And exchange your regrets for your life.
by Lucille Miller
Three artists (Rex Miller, Jean Jensen and Dennis Miller Jr.), inspired by their mother, Lucille Miller's poem SET FIRE, along with Dennis' wife Cynthia, have created an extraordinary facility in the village of Lewellen, one of many small western towns which has been shrinking in population and businesses for the past fifty years. It is a place that touches one's spirit. It is the Most Unlikely Place.
